First episode of Coaching With Greatness, our series on the many ways people grow. Tim sits down with Yair, a Greater Change coach who describes meeting human design as meeting the love of his life. Twenty-two minutes, one chart, and a few surprises. The short version is below.
What it actually is
Human design takes the moment you were born and turns it into a chart: nine energy centers, the channels between them, and which ones are switched on for you. Yair calls it a blueprint, and he is clear that it borrows from older systems, astrology, the I Ching, Kabbalah, and the chakras, and keeps the useful parts. Think of it as a map of how you are built to work and make decisions, not a fortune.
The five types
Most people, about seven in ten, are generators, the ones with the energy to do the work. Manifesting generators are a faster cousin. Projectors are guides who see how others should use their energy. Manifestors start things. Reflectors, one in a hundred, read the whole room. Tim turns out to be a generator. So is Yair. Neither of them was thrilled about the seven-in-ten part at first.
Your body has an engine
The center Yair keeps coming back to is the sacral, which he describes as a renewable power source that only switches on for work that is right for you. Feeling lit up by a project is the body saying yes. Feeling drained every day is the body saying this job, project, or relationship is not yours. He reads one of Tim's channels as a mutation channel: energy that shows up when you are building something that did not exist before. Tim, building this company, does not argue.
It gets personal fast
Yair is candid that relationships are where this changed his life. Years of long-term relationships that never quite flowed, then a framework that explained why. His warning: strong attraction and real compatibility are different things, and the mind tends to chase the first. He now works with singles who want clarity on what they are looking for and couples who want to understand the dynamics between them.
The line that stuck
Purpose, Yair says, is not the company you build or the number in your account. It is the state you carry into every room: regulated, balanced, enough. That is the part of the conversation worth rewinding for.
Curious what your chart says? Yair takes sessions through Greater Change.
